Childhood Photo Series: Swap #3

The third of a series of swaps dedicated to personal childhood photos. It can be seen as an extension of the second swap, or one on its own.

This particular swap is a little more time consuming and will need your creativity but from my experience can be very rewarding on a personal level, so I recommend that you join in and enjoy!

Swap #3: The Timeless Rendezvous

1. Choose 2 childhood photos which you appear in, preferably in different ages. In this swap, childhood can include teen years.

2. You are then invited to combine them into one – resulting in a collage depicting a meeting between your younger and older self. You can make the collage however you wish – cut and paste one photo onto the other, paste both selves onto a new background etc.. The main thing is to make sure both images of you are photos, not drawings. Size of collage is sender's choice.

3. Lastly, try to imagine the dialogue that would take place. What would they say to each other? Something to ask maybe, some words of wisdom perhaps, maybe just a short chat, maybe only one would speak... whatever pops up.

You are welcome to add to the letter some words from yourself if you like, about the photos or the experience of making the swap.
