Description:

For this swap you will have to have a box of crayons - so if you don't have any nice ones at home go buy a brand new box! Ya know you want too. (and don't buy the smallest box you can find) It's such a thrill to open up a new box of crayons and pick the color you want to use and to color with the new crayon for the first time. - So for this swap that's what you will do. I want to keep our first color related swap simple. You will close your eyes and pick out any random color from your crayon box - now if you happen to pick plain old blue, green, orange, red (you get the idea) then set this aside and try again. You want to chose a crayon with a "different title" such as bubble gum pink, emerald green, peacock blue, etc... With this crayon you will write you partner a simple letter - tell them something you have been doing this summer or something you plan to do. Then with this same crayon you will draw a little picture to go with your letter. You can draw on the same paper or a different piece of paper - but only use this color. Just a simple drawing is all you need, think butterflies, zentangle designs, flowers - whatever. You will then mail your letter, picture, AND that crayon off to your partner!

Ok - Get those crayons ready and lets get started!

do you know how hard it is to find a box of crayons bigger than 24 which don't seem to have any different names........ etc at least around here it's a challenge....... maybe everyone uses those twisty ones these days...... anyway mission accomplished, looking forward to using them..... sooo many pretty colours :-)

Oh beebee don't scare me like that. I found my big box at the Dollar Store - I haven't opened them yet - so I'm hoping they have some unique names :)
