Description:

For this series of swaps we'll be making a handmade postcard for each letter of the alphabet, this swap is for the letter "A"

I think it would be really fun to collect all the letters and either display them all in your home, or use select ones to spell something.

The nitty gritty:

Make 1 postcard that features the letter A. The letter should be large enough to take up a good amount of space on the card, but other than that, i'll leave the rest up to your creativity.

All cards are to be written on and mailed naked (stamped, and no envelope)

There is no limit to how you can make these cards. Painting, drawing, collage, knit, crochet, quilt, doodle, embroider whatever! As long as you make sure it can withstand the mailing process.

PLEASE put some real effort into this swap, no newbies allowed, 4.9 rating or higher. Must have at least 10 ratings for type 3 swaps.

Also these are completely senders choice, and if you know you will stick around to do the whole alphabet (or select letters) feel free to get working on them asap :)

I know I don't meet the newbie requirements, but please let me participate! I won't let you down!

Is it ok to design our post card using digital clip art, a bit of creativity, and programs such as PhotoShop?

Also, post cards come in different sizes, so I was wondering how large our post cards should be.

Thanks! Karen aka CraftyTweetie

CraftyTweetie, I don't know if you ever got an answer about size. I usually make my postcards 4x6, because that is just about the maximum size for postcard rate in the US (there are quarter or eighths of an inch in the official size limit, but 4x6 is easier to remember!).

there is no size requirement
