Description:

I love craft supplies and i love swapping them, so I decided to create a swap myself to satisfy my supply needs. :D Okay so here are the rules:

RATINGS Newbies are welcome with well filled out profiles and the senior swappers should have no 1s or 3s. If you want to join, but you have a bad rating that is unfair, please PM and explain. :) I reserve the right to ban swappers who seem fishy!

PROFILE BASED Send supplies that your partner will love. And naturally you have to have a well filled profile. :D

WHAT TO SEND I don't want to make too tight rules on what to send, I think a partner's profile is more helpful to get ideas. :) The only limitation is that we swap craft supplies! So it can be paper goods, embellishments, yarn, ribbon, fabric, recycled bits and pieces.. And this can be quite an unexpensive swap, for example I use a lot of recycled stuff or things I have gotten from somebody. This should be clear without saying but... send something that you would like to receive!

HOW MUCH TO SEND I have noticed that most this kind of swaps have an envie size of 4 x 9 as a minimum. I usually use C5 envies, they are roughly measured 6,5 x 9 inches (23 x 16 cm), so the minimum could be the 4 x 9 but bigger is ok too. :D And the envie should be at least an inch thick. :)

WHAT ELSE? Make sure you tape up your envie well, international mail can get some rough handling! :D ummm... Well just ask if you have any questions!

Happy swapping ^___^

Can we send a larger envie but not an inch thick?? I don't know if it can stuff so high... Does the inch include the bubble wrap for those who send with bubble envies? Or should it be the contents are an inch thick? Any dollar value? Sorry to ask so many questions - I just want to be clear. Thanks!

it's just good to ask questions! contents are inch thick. of couse, if the envie is bigger and bubblewrap type, it can be a bit slimmer. :) i didn't choose any dollar value since good things might be practically free or inexpensive, at least i have such stuff! :D this should be quite inexpensive swap i guess, tho it depends on how expensive material one has.. i'm just very crappy at evaluating a specific money value! <:)

you can make suggestions about the value of supplies, if you like :)

Can we get a low rating if the envelope isn't thick enough?

marianeiti 07/ 6/2010 #

i guess it's possible since it depends on your partner. however if the contents are inch thick if crammed into a 4x9 envie, it is according to the description of the swap.

I have some gently used, craft scissors, stamps, sharpies, colored pencils is that ok?

marianeiti 07/ 7/2010 #

i would have nothing against gently used crafty stuff, but it is recommended that you check your partner about it unless it is stated in her/his profile is it ok.
