"No Worries!" 32ct Matchbox Swap

Any Aussies, or anyone who knows an Aussie, or anyone who's spent any time Down Under will have heard this term! We use it to respond to everything from "can you pass the salt" to "My dog just pooped on your patio" :P

Anywho, I thought it might be fun to make a little worry doll for each other! Heck, I know I worry and stress too much about everything - and I know I'm not the only one out there who does! So how nice would it be to have a teeny tiny little dollie to confide in? According to legends from many ancient and modern cultures, when you tell your worry doll your worries, they take care of them for you so you can sleep soundly. Aww how nice!

Make it any way you would like. Fabric, paper, clay, beads, ribbons ... you are only limited by your imagination! And of course, make your dollie a pretty matchbox to live in!

This is senders choice as to the style/colour of your doll and matchbox. Please do take a quick peek at your partner's profile just to make sure you don't make them something they will be offended by (e.g. nudity).

I think it would be really nice to add a little explanation or story about your doll (does it have a name? what kinds of things does your doll worry about?) which you can add with a letter along with your matchbox, or as a little matchbox booklet. However you like!

The Nitty-Gritties :

• There is 2 weeks to sign up, and 2 more until send date. I think that gives us lots of time to be all creative and stuff! But, if anyone has any dramas with that, please let me know :)

• Newbies welcome as long as you have a filled out profile.

• Open to international participants

• No recent 1s or 3s please - if you do have them and really want to join, please PM me and we can discuss (I'm always happy to do private swaps)

• By signing up, you pledge to RATE :)

• No flakers please! I will angel if needed, but I'm sure no-one will be so unkind as to flake in our group! "If you flake, may the hairs on your bum all turn to hammers and beat the poop out of you!"
