My First Slam!

There isn't one at the moment, sorry. If this one goes well, I'll probably wind up doing an international one.

so for the newbie question i understand what i slam book is just not how this works exacty so we ask questions and send it to our parteners and then they pass it around or just send it back?

You put together a slam book with any kind of "Getting to know you" questions that you wish, send it to your partners and then they'll get passed around until the books are full, then the last person will send it back to you! :)

Any specific size? Are we doing full notebooks?

So, let me get this straight: we make one slam book for each of our two parterns? But then what do we do with the ones we get? How do we know who to send them to?

I am a little confused too. If you answer indieclectic's Q's I think I can get it. I really want to start these, but have always wondered how they get around!

:) Okay, so here we go:

ammalu: You can use notebooks or make a book using any crafty materials you can get your hands on. Either is fine.

indieclectic: When you get your books, you fill them out and then send them to penpals or in another slam swap. Kind of the same idea as a friendship book, they don't go back to the original owner until they are full! Hope that answers your questions!

Quick question. When writing our questions, do we put the same set of questions on every page of the notebook, or only one page after you sign yours, and the receiver adds their own set of questions for the next person

Fill the entire book with your questions. One question per page. :)

I wish I knew what a slam book was, I read the comments and I just am way too new to this to know anything about it :( I think I need a slam book tutorial!!! LOL

I have never heard of this either. It sounds interesting, but I won't sign up because I don't understand how it works.
