Description:

I received the original coordinator's blessing to start a round #2. I changed this one to US ONLY if that helps

For this swap you will send one ATC apiece to each of your 20 partners. Yep, you heard me right, 20 partners. Senders choice so you can set to work on your ATCs as soon as you sign up (or even beforehand, or use ones you've already made). Even though this is for a lot of cards, they should still be high-quality! You have plenty of time here to spend time on each and every card you send out. No sticker-slapping! Please with-a-cherry-on-top put your swapbot ID and the swap name on the back of the ATC. In the last swap I received 11 out of 20 ATCs that did not have any info and it was a pain to try and figure out which swap it belonged to.

I reeeally don't want any flakers in here because organizing 20 angels would be less than pleasant, so requirements will be strict. Rating of at least 4.93 and NO unexplained ones. That means if you have an unfair one, or one from a long time ago that you tried to make up but couldn't, and it isn't explained in your rating response (as it should be) you Must PM me the explanation or I will ban you. No exceptions.

Also, sorry, but no brand-new newbies. You must have completed at least 15 snailmail swaps, at least 3 of which must be ATCs. I will check.

Wow. That's $8.80 just for postage, assuming you swap with people just in the U.S.

beenebag 06/ 9/2010 #

Yeah, but you get 20 ATCs for your collection:) Twenty little pieces of original art for under $10 bucks:)

kawaiibuttons 06/ 9/2010 #

Keep in mind there is 5 weeks to mail, you can mail out a few each week, that would save on postage as well.

kawaiibuttons 06/ 9/2010 #

also, to mail one envie w/atc to canada, uk, australia is about the same or just a few cents more than mailing within the US

It costs almost 3 times as much to send to out of country if you've made a sturdy or rigid card, or a card with bumpy embellies (i.e. not a sticker slapper). I REALLY want to join but I wish it was US only too.

kawaiicupcakes 06/ 9/2010 #

HOLY COW! sooo many ATCs! I am so tempted to join, but my mom would probably kill me if I had to mail out 20 pieces of mail! Postage would be insane. haha. I'll keep it on my watch list for now. And also, I agree that a US only version of this swap might help with postage.

kawaiibuttons 06/ 9/2010 #

I mailed out a rigid envelope that had 1 ATC in it to Australia and it was only $0.65. In any case, I changed it o US only if that helps.

if anyone wants to host an international only that is fine with me

KatarinaNavane 06/ 9/2010 #

Yay, round two! I hosted the first, it was a lot of fun but decided to let kawaiibuttons handle round two. US only does make it a bit easier on the wallet, I felt bad for the one international person last time around.

kawaiibuttons 06/ 9/2010 #

thanks for joining Katarina!

dorsetdumpling 06/10/2010 #

Oh Katarina - I was the one International person in the last round and I loved sending and receiving 20 ATC's - disappointed it isn't International this time but understand the reasons. For those of us overseas, we factor in the cost and without some International swaps we would miss out on some lovely talented swappers to swap with :)

kawaiibuttons 06/10/2010 #

I may start an International one, I'll see what type of feedback I get here.....

angel1985 06/10/2010 #

I'd love to see this done internationally! Count me in if it goes ahead.

inthewild 06/10/2010 #

Please let me know if you decide to go international would love to join then.

breadcrumbs00 06/10/2010 #

Well, I was the other "one" international swapper in the last round :D and I really enjoyed it! I received 19 lovely ATCs (I think only one person did not send!) and would love to do it again if there was an international version.

KatarinaNavane 06/10/2010 #

haha I wasn't sure if there was more than one or not, I only wound up sending to one!

VerkaCZ 06/10/2010 #

hmmm.... wanted to join but now its US only so i cant, why dont you feel sorry for us in all other swaps? mostly there are US guys participating in international swaps also ... I dont see how i would be ruined by sending 20 envies a little under 1$ if i willingly choose to do so

kawaiibuttons 06/10/2010 #

ok, I started an international version...

hooray, I am so excited to work on my cards for this giant swap! Thank you!

Whiskey 06/27/2010 #

Arr! I want to do this, but havne't completed my ATC swaps yet. I've followed through on a ton of postcard ones, though, and one or two envelope ones. If an exception can be made, that'd be great, but I understand if it's not possible. I'd love to be innundated with a bunch of wonderful ATCs, and share a bunch of mine!

dreamerkins 07/ 2/2010 #

yay! that was fun! when do we do it again??lol!
