International Women's Magazines

I am still pretty new at hosting swaps so please feel free to provide any suggestions or tips that you may have. I want to do a good job, and I am here to learn.

I made a check beforehand and could not find any existing swaps, but if someone already owns this idea then please do let me know and I will credit accordingly. I do not want to offend or upset anyone.

I love reading all sorts of magazines! This swap is for women's lifestyle and fashion magazines. You will send one magazine from your country to each of your swap partners. There will be three partners per person for this swap. So that we get a variety of international magazines, the number of participants per country will be limited to a maximum of two. Please list your country in the comments section once you have signed-up for the swap.

If your partner(s) are from the same country, please contact them and communicate to ensure you do not send them something they already have or subscribe to.

You may send back issues of magazines, however please limit this to those published within the last year (i.e. no older than July 2009).

Because some countries have magazines which are really thin, I am recommending a guideline of at least 200 pages per magazine, failing which, please send two magazines instead. Please also try to send English-language magazines, however if your country does not publish any English-language magazines, local language magazines with colored pages and pictures will do as well.

Participants must have a minimum rating of 4.9 and three completed and rated type 3 (package) swaps by the sign-up deadline.

I cannot commit to angel this swap, however I will send a RAK if you get flaked on. I will also thoroughly check through the profiles of all who've signed up and reserve the right to ban any questionable swappers prior to assigning partners.
