Mermaid APC Deck – Swap # 2

We are trying to build a 52 deck of MERMAID altered playing cards. Each card must have at least one mermaid on it. You will need to check your partner’s profile to see what card or cards they are still missing from their deck. Here are the pacifics: (get it? Pacific Ocean, mermaids live there?) LOL!

You will have two partners and make one altered playing card for each. An Altered Playing Card or APC is a poker sized card (2.5”x3.5”) that has been altered by your media of choice. You can use watercolor, collage, paint, stamping, mixed media….just about anything you want as long as one of the numbers on the card is showing along with its suite symbol. Please make sure that you include your name and date on the back. I have a few wonderful cards that I don’t even know who made them! Please do not just slap a sticker on the card and call it altered. Make it a card that you would consider a work of art. This deck should be a show case of wonderful mermaid goodness!

If you check out my profile, you will see that I have listed all of the cards in my deck by suite and then by number. These are all cards that I still need to complete my mermaid deck. It would be a good idea to list your cards in some way, so that your partner will know which cards you still need and pick from one of those. Usually, you would not trade a card that you yourself have not made. In this case, if you have an extra mermaid APC that is a double and you see that your partner is in need of that particular card, you could send it. Just don’t send a card back to its original maker. There will be more of these swaps in the future so hop on any time you like and we will welcome you warmly! Because I do not want to see any flakage, you must have at least a 4.9 rating or higher, a completely filled out profile (It would be a good idea to include your list of cards you need before I assign partners) and no 1’s or 3’s in the last six months. I do check profiles every time I make a swap. Please, don’t forget to rate your partners when you get their wonderful mermaid APC…It’s just good manners! Have a wonderful swap!
