I have signed up for this but I may need 6 months to write it as I have so many favorits books it will take me that long to reread them all to pick one out to use! LOL: -D

Col, do we send our two sentences by post, or by email?

Guess it must be by email, since the deadline to send the story is June 11th?

I've just sent my sentences by email to my partners, since craftycol said that's the best way to go.

This rating plan does not work -- We never rate the person we send TO, they rate us. So to be rated all we have to do is send the two sentences, whether or not the person writes and sends back a story is something that we CANNOT rate, the way swap-bot is set up.

It's got nothing to do with being an officer, as far as I can see. This rating problem has come up with other people's swaps. We can only rate the people who send to us in the first place. It's not possible to rate a "turn around" kind of swap for the final product/story/whatever -- it has to do with how the swap-bot program is set up. So I am going to rate you for sending me your sentences. And I will try to write a story but when you receive it, there's nothing you can do except PM me or leave a note on my profile or in this comments list, to say you got it and that it's the most fabulous [or boring] story you ever read.

That's how it has to work for everyone in the swap, and since you can't cancel a swap that's already had partners assigned, that's what everyone is supposed to do. You probably should email others and explain because I don't think people read the comments section all that much.

I check the comments all the time, in order to get clarification of the swap rules. I'm not that "swap savvy" yet. I too overlooked the fact that we don't rate the people we send TO, but rather those who send to US. So, Craftycol, it was an honest mistake. Don't beat yourself up over it. That means we won't get rated for our literary effort after all. Bummer! Still, I'll give it my best shot. Happy writing everyone!

As June pointed out is not for our effort we get rated tho have sent the begining does not seem right to me. So maybe June did not read early as she signed up gairly quick was time to point it out to me and I could have maybe changed it or cancelled it. 4 THOSE WHO WISH 2 write stories I can always add a heart later for your efforts. I have e-mailed my two partners the sentences from my book selection. AND I have snail-mailed my AngelFaeryKathleen a short story from the sentences she sent me.

Mine is gone by snail mail to Artistic today.
