Not for the weak, this journal challenge will NOT be all about rambling and doodling about your day. Oh HELL no... aside from writing in it, you will be working on weekly challenge assignments. Examples: Week 1: Write about yourself and include a picture (i guess you can draw yourself if you don't want to show yourself lol) Week 2: Post 5 pictures related to things you did this week Week 3: Tell me 10 Secrets Week 4: Create 5 paper pockets and fill them with things you found, collect, make, etc. You will take a Composition Style Notebook and decorate the journal however you like. Once the swap starts, I will email everyone the list of weekly challenges. That's a total of 14 weeks from May 30 - Sept 4. Beware: The intention for this swap is to make it very personal and so that the person you send your journal to gets to know YOU. There will be challenges that might require you to tell your partner some very personal thoughts or memories. Also... I like pages with pockets full or surprises. mwahaha One Last Requirement: Try and make it colorful. Look at the link below for inspiration. :) Swap Graphic Cred: eklektick

Man... I want to do this more than you could possibly know but seeing as how I have a wedding, move, and possible tour happening in that time frame.. ahhh. But I want to =(

hey!! i have composition notebooks i bought from the states last year, but they are all small sized, about 6x8.5 inches. is that alright?

So, this journal is more about "me" than tooling it to the likes of the partner I get assigned? Sorry, I just want to make sure that I am understanding this well, as it sounds like a really fun and creative project :)

Pretty much, yes it will be about you and what you did that week. However, there may be some small fun things you can do for your partner like, a cute example would be sort of like finding flowers outside to paste onto a page. etc. :) But yeah, 95% of it will be mostly about you. :D

More questions again, I hope you won't mind.

I've gotten a small start on my journal so far, and am still decorating the covers. I hope that the journal I found will be ok :)

But, now, when it comes to the weekly challenges. When we have a week where it's like...talk about the saddest day...are we supposed to do a number of pages for it? Like, compared to the ones where it asks for like, 5 pockets. I'm just wondering if some weeks take a number of pages then, and then other weeks may only take 1 page? Sorry...I just want to make sure I'm not going to mess this all up and disappoint my partner :(

Hmm, that makes sense.

The one challenge is all that is required of that week. If you make one page that's fine. If you make 10 pages that's great. You are free to add more pages of your own choosing if you'd like to make the journal more full and interesting to your partner. :D One page is all that's required.
