This is for all us book lovers. I have seen so many wonderful books on sale at discount stores and in thift stores like brand new and thought why not do a book swap and let these books get used..lol So I thought it would be fun to have one partner and send one book off . I want this to be fun and not break the bank!! So go out and look in thirft store and discount stores .but please send books not ripped or dirty . I will ask everyone to write two Authors you like or 2 topics you like to read like Love story or Thriller , horror ect. So one partner and send one good used book off to them.I ask no ones or threes in last 6 months and have a filled out profile.

Please write below 2 Authors or two topics you like to read so your partner can try to get something you will enjoy. I know it may not be as easy to find in thift store so please bare that in mind and don't be harsh if you don't get the Author you wrote .I ask everyone have fun and do your best to send something they like or close to it and not ripped or dirty.. So go have fun and it may be fun to send a bookmark along !! Please remember to rate when you get your book..

I like lynn austin books and ghost stories and mysteries . so anything in that category would be great .

Does it have to be from a used bookstore/thrift shop/book fair or whatever? Could it be a book from our personal collection that we are ready to pass on if it is one that would be of interest to our partner?

polar 04/24/2010 #

Bookwyrmm I think that is fine . I just ask it be something your partner would like..

My profile is pretty extensive in terms of the kinds of books I would like. How-to and cookbooks are usually pretty easy to find at thrift stores, although I'd prefer a book about healthy cooking if at all possible. I would also love a book about meditation or stress relief , feminism or a memoir or biography. I really like romance novels by Susan Mallery and Sheryl Woods, as well as paranormal romance. As for the mystery/thriller category, I love Lisa Scottoline's books.

I love more mystery / drama like books. Please no harlequin romance ones for me. A couple of my favorite authors that I don't have listed in my profile are Sue Grafton & just started reading some Cj Box I think was his name. Other suggestions in my profile.

I really want to read anything by Raymond Chandler or Dashiell Hammett. They wrote detective stories quite a long time ago but I think they're still pretty easy to find. If not, I'd love a knitting book -- particularly lace knitting.

I like true crime, biographies, poetry, and non-fiction

Oops, forgot to do this until partner pm-ed me! Any book by Georgette Heyer ( any condition is fine with me), sci/fi/fantasy, mysteries with good representation of women.
