Where are all the slam swappers out there? This swap is for you. For this swap, you will send your partner 50 slams. They can be new, established or a combination of the two. When partners are assigned, please check your partner's profile to see what her preferences are. Likewise, if there are certain slams you don't like or don't swap, be sure to have it posted clearly on your profile so that you don't get any such slams. Feel free to enclose more slams or a little something extra if you want to earn a heart. Please be reasonable with the homers. I won't specify a limit and trust that everyone will use their best judgment. Any questions, please ask either your partner or me. I'll make this one a quick turn-over but if you want more time, sign up for the #3 swaps. This swap is USA only due to the size and costs associated with the package, but I have an international version with fewer slams.

I love this swap but I am new to slams! I cannot make 50. I would love to do 1:1 swaps or I can swap materials for new ones for slams you can send me. Just PM me if you are interested.

I've been trying to get a Global Slam Swap 2 organized that will require only 10 slams. This swap here is more for established slam swappers who always have an arsenal of them sitting around. I know I usually have anywhere from 100-200 on hand at any given time. I'm a junkie, I know. :)

Anyway, there's a good description of what a slam is in the FAQ section here on Swap-Bot, but I'll give you my version...

A slam is a booklet that has pages with questions for people to answer. The anatomy of a slam consists of the following:

a decorated cover that gives information on who the book is made for (name and at least an e-mail address, preferably a physical address) and who made it
a sign-in page where participants leave their address label so people know who has taken part
the subsequent pages, typically, have a question at the top that each person takes turns answering (i.e. "What was the last thing you ate?")
a sign-out page at the end where each participant signs their name and the date on which they participated in the slam

Slams are then passed along to other swappers until either the sign-in page is full or there is no more room for people to answer the questions on the other pages. When a slam is full, it needs to be sent back to the person it was made for.
