@nicahat - On the 19th I'll assign partners. You SHOULD receive an e-mail notification that partners have been assigned. If not, just check back that day and you'll be able to tell if partners have been assigned just by looking at the swap. In the little yellow box you'll have a link that says "See the partners I send to" or something similar. Hope this helps!

Hello everyone. I wanted to explain my rating of 1, It was several months ago, I was having a hard time financial with the economy and cutting hours, and the holidays. If you look that's the only one I have, and all my other ratings are great.

If you're sending from an area that has been effected by the volcano - please just message your partner when they are assigned and let them know where you are sending from, and anything you know about the mail and if it's being rerouted. I don't want anyone to get crabby - but I also don't want to tell people they cannot participate. Letters will arrive at some point!! :)

I just wanted to let you know that we're having problems with flights in the uk, due to the volcanic ash clouds. So I'm sorry if my letter is a little late arriving to my partner, but they're hoping that everything should be back to normal very soon :) x

Just had a thought. As a result of the volcanic eruption in Iceland, much of air travel (and that also means mail) has been halted in the Northern hemsiphere. I know that here in the UK we are still under an aviation ban, which should hopefully be lifted in the next day or too. I know the same goes for all scandinavian countries, france, germany, poland, russia. I don't know what my postal service's contingency plan is, but i'll be betting the mail will be slow in getting to its destination. Thought i should give you the heads up.

@Alcomog - Thanks! Please let your partner know. I heard from another swapper that mail is being rerouted by train, and then flown out. Hopefully this is the case and mail won't be too delayed. :)
