Just Because Poscards...Round Five

Are these sent naked or in an envelope? Should we include a message on the card if it's naked? Hope these aren't dumb questions.

These are to be sent with a message and not in an envelope. : )

Do they have to be store bought? Can they be hand made as long as they are sturdy

I would like to know if they can be handmade too.

I really prefer to send and RECEIVE hand-made cards since my favourite style is collage. Even if they are a store-bought card, I think they can be altered with a cut out image or stickers to be more interesting. I don't have much use for the "normal" tourist type cards. At least send a real stamp on them- not the postoffice metered ones. For my partners- I realize some people prefer store bought cards and if I am sending to you and I know this is your preference- I'll send that kind.

Just stating my *preference- if store bought comes I will be happy with it and will also appreciate the stamp on the back. For example- I contacted my partner first before I made a card for her. She said that handmade was OK but prefered a 4X6 size so that is what I am sending.

I think all of these picky requests that seem to be the norm now sort of take away a lot of the fun of sending cards out. :(

Usually I read what the coordinator writes and follow those lines. If not, I tend to become stressed. ;)

I like either one, so I usually join the swaps where the coordinator specifies which type or says "senders choice". I do also belong to a group that is for "Handmade postcards" and that would be one way to get just that kind if you prefer those.
