What to Send

  • Anything your partner can use. No trash, senders choice. Examples include: postcards, stickers, note cards, letter sets, memo sheets, list sheets, etc. As long as your partner sends you something unused that is not trash, they get a 5.

  • By unused I do not mean 'unopened'. Just something you can use... A few memo sheets are fine, even if they do not send the whole memo pad because you can use the sheets to write on.

  • This is sender's choice, but if your partner obviously takes the time to check your profile & put something profile-related in it, a heart would be nice.

How Many Partners?

  • 2! And this is USA only so postage will be cheap.

The Ususal

  • MOST people are welcome, even "semi-newbies". You must have 3 swaps under your belt.

  • Ratings of 5.0 only.

  • Fully-filled out profiles only.

  • USA only.

  • PM me or comment with questions.

Clarification

  • This swap is very much like the Fill Up My Mailbox - The Remix swap hosted by the lovely @snailmaillover - which can be found here: http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/55692

  • You are to send anything! That means, a postcard, an envelope with a few stickers, a bookmark, a few magazine clippings (for making ATCs), some fun paper scraps (none smaller than 3x3 please), a ribbon, some recipes. ANYTHING!

  • Be sure to include a note with your swap-bot name and the swap name.

  • So in closing, there are no requirements beyond the fact that you must send something and it can not be junk. Just send something you would like to receive - no JUNK.

How big should the package be? Just one postage stamp? or is there a requirement on this?

Vendetti 03/28/2010 #

Yeah, I'm not really sure what this swap is... At all. Is this a profile surprise? A stuffed envelope? Please elaborate. =)

Great questions! This is my first swap like this on Swap-Bot so I left out a few key details it looks like... Sorry!

@lovelyred203 - There really aren't any requirements. The only requirement is that they send something usable. This can mean a postcard or something as awesome as a whimsy jar or profile surprise. It's sender's choice. (I've edited the swap description for clarification).

@Vendetti - Thanks again for the question! It's not a profile surprise nor a "stuffed envelope" either. More of a way to get a little something in the mail. I've edited the swap for more clarification.

So why 5.0? You think I would flake because I do not have a 5.0?

MSturgill87 04/ 1/2010 #

@ziggi13pra - The reason for the 5.0 is because I don't want to have anyone flaked on in my swap. I have held newbie swaps and swaps that welcome people with a slightly lower rating (4.9, 4.8, etc.). I do not think you would flake, given your many ratings and only 2 that aren't 5's, but I can't make exceptions at this time. I hope this answered your question. :-) There are many swaps on Swap-Bot that ask users to have a 5.0 rating, but there are just as many, if not more, swaps that welcome users with a 4.9 with valid reasons for the lower ratings.

I have just finished checking profiles for participants thus far. Before I close the swap and assign partners, I will check the participants again if anyone else joins. :-)

Once again went thru the participants. I will be assigning partners soon!
