Are folded sticker-sheets acceptable?

Yes this is senders choice as long as there is no teacher reward stickers or tiny stickers.

Yes folded sheets are exceptable as long as the stickers them selves do not have a fold in them.

if sheets are folded the stickers will inevitably be folded

Its better to cut the sheet in half then fold it because it often raises the stickers off the sheet so they won't stick properly. I'd rather have 2 half sheets classed as one then a useless sheet which I'd have to throw away :(
