Description:

I am a beader and love getting new beads. I have tons of extras that I would love to share. I am hoping all you beaders out there are the same.

I propose a swap of a bag of beads with a value of $5.00. It can be a mix of different beads or all the same. It can be glass, gemstone or silver. It could have all the same color scheme or an ecclectic mix. Maybe a bag with enough to make a piece of jewelry. You can contact your swap partner to find out what they prefer. Although this is named "Bag of Beads", you do not neccessarily have to send the beads in a bag. As long as you send quality beads with at least $5.00 value.

This is my first swap so hopefully it will be successful. I considered having more than one swap partner, but we'll try it with just one for now just to see how it goes.

Please do not include poor quality beads. Do not send plastic or acrylic beads. Please remember that this is an international swap. when leaving comments for a particular person, please be sure to respect their privacy by using their user name not their real name. Thank you.

Rec'd my beads today from Elaine in NY; thank you! They are fantastic and it was so thoughtful of you to give me 'pairs' so I could make earrings if I wanted - and I WILL!

I received Pumpernickel's bead. What a wonderful variety. Wood, bone, metal. I know I work mostly with glass, but I love the natural beads too. Thanks!

These are some of the beads I sent to Strawberry Shake. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/yunnermeier/bakingstuff095.jpg

They're all handmade. The large porcelain bead is from China . The smaller ones are from Mongolia and are off much better quality than the Chinese bead. The flowers are polymer clay and was bought from Malaysia (though I think the idea to make these beads-called fimo- are from the US?)

I cannot post a picture, as Anita did not send any beads to me. I hope that people will start being more honest, this is so disappointing!
