Comments on Craft/Design Blogs

I really like the idea. Can I join even though my blog is not mainly connected to crafting? It is about intercultural experiences, but there will be a little craftiness here and there.

Sure you can join! I really want to build networks and things with international artists and crafts people and i thought this was the best way to do it! Feel free to join if you fit that :)

When leaving comments do I just need to leave my username on here for points?

if you leave your username in where you are leaving a comment on the blog then people will be able to keep up as to who has commented :)

I just joined! My blog is all crochet, so I hope there are some crochet lovers in this swap! I also really love to find new blogs to follow, so I'm pretty excited about this one.

I don't crochet but I would still like to look at your blog. I scrapbook and make cards. I'm getting into sewing and knitting. I find other people work interesting.

Let's see if I have this straight - Once we are assigned partners do we go to their profile to get to their blogs? So should we make sure there is a link on our profile to our blog, or should we leave our blog address here in the comments? Then after, we rate the people who were assigned to us on whether or not they left five comments? Sorry! I just want to make sure I do it correctly.:0)

Could we maybe extend the deadline? I like the blogs a lot and would hate to rush through them. Plus there are some problems with posting in one or two which are hard to sort out in such short time. Will manage even if we stick with it, but it would be greatly appreciated. Enjoying it a lot so far.

I thought it would be best to post here then my profile that if you find I've left one or two comments please let me know as I've left a lot more but with those verification things they aren't there when you press 'post comment' but come up afterwards. I keep forgetting to scroll down and then add the code in which results in the message disappearing... grrrr...

I really love this swap, but I would like to get this off my chest. I apologize for having a new blog/site. I am new to this whole blog thing and starting a new business venture. I hoped by joining this swap it would push me to get things up quicker. However, as a new mommy, full time job, and starting a new business obviously it did not help. I got a very rude email from one of the participants (not naming names) and just want to let you all know, that NOOOO! I did not join this so people would just see my business. I joined because my business is about crafts, scrapbooking that I love to do and love to show off. And I love meeting and networking with new people and seeing all the wonderful crafts done all around the world. So please don't get the wrong impression when you go to my site. I hope with this extension you will be able to see some of my scrapbooking pages that I am determined to have up by Sunday! I noticed that a lot of people flaked on this swap. I only received comments from about half my partners. Has anyone else had this happen?

J3ss1ca, yes, me too. I had a little more than half of people comment and less than half follow. I think many people forgot the FOLLOW part. The follow was just as important as the comments part. It has been frustrating. :o(
