i am going to host four matchbox swaps - they will be in the theme of the four seasons. the first matchbox (32c) should be decorated with the theme of FALL. you have to send one matchbox to one partner. you can fill it with ribbons, sequins, rhinestone, stickers, buttons, confetti, leafs, anything that has to do with fall... You must have a rating of 4.75 and not more than two no sends. I will ban after closing date -- any questions please feel free to ask. this swap is international

This will be my first matchbox swap. Are there any special things I need to know? I've not made one of these but feel VERY confident. They don't look that hard. I'll start working (the thinking process at least) on it this week.

Wow, 121TR21 - your question has been sitting there a long time, unanswered. You probably already know the answer by now, but it means '32 count' - the small matchbox. In Australia and the UK I think the small ones are 50 count and so anyone from those areas will be using those sized matchboxes. Those are the smallest.

Anyway - I just joined this swap a few minutes ago and am looking forward to it. :)

Isn't there a pattern to make these by hand? Just curious 'cause what do you do with all the matches,lol. We don't burn canldes that much with 2 kids and a large indoor dog:)
