Description:
For those who have a favorite childhood book or story, this is the swap for you. We'll be exchanging not only the book. Each swapper will create 3 items that follow the theme of the book. This can be recipes, ATCs (Artist Trading Cards), toys, etc. This is your chance to be as creative as you want. Let's try to keep the cost to $10 and under (not including shipping). This is an international swap, so only sign up if you're prepared to pay the shipping cost. Only swappers in good standing will be allowed to participate.

what a fun idea. how do you feel about books considered YA? not "kiddie" enough? or would you rather just stick to books for younger kids?

I think young adult would be fine. I was thinking of books that we loved when we were young and I certainly wasn't limited by the recommended age of a book.

Does the book need to be a brand new copy or would a second hand copy in good condition be alright? :0)

Second hand would be fine. I'm planning on buying a copy from half priced books.

I got a question about the size and safety of the items we send. Whether they should be child proof. I don't think they need to be child proof. Feel free to warn the person you're sending if you think they should keep things away from their kids.
