Drawn/Painted ATC: Cancelled Postage Stamp

Make one ATC for your one partner with your own personal hand drawn or painted (or both) cancelled postage stamp theme.

Design an image that you would love to see made into a postage stamp, then create your own style of postmark on top of it to "cancel" the stamp. You can draw the postmark right onto the artwork, or you could even draw the postmark onto a clear overlay with a fine tipped black permanent marker and attach it on top. If you are really gung ho you could even carve your own mark into an eraser or linoleum block and stamp it on with ink! Use your imagination.

Make the ATC look like it has a perforated border like a postage stamp does (you could either do that graphically or you could actually use shaped scissors to edge the backing card, or maybe run paper through a sewing machine with no needle and tear the edge off??). Hope you "get the picture" :o)

Use whatever media you feel most comfortable with. It could be oils, acrylics, watercolor, pencil, ink, markers, etc.

What's most important is that you enjoy the creative process and make something you would be more than happy to receive.
