It is not allowed in and will be burt at border controle, thanks. Tea and coffee is OK as it is processed but raw material is not. Nor are feathers unless they are dyed.

Same applies to AUSTRALIA. They thermo-screen for 'organic' matter, and that can include shells, coconut shell jewellery, seemingly innocuous things. Sometimes they're allowed through, sometimes not. But raw, unsealed, unprocessed items are NOT.

Quarantine is strict here to keep out blights and mites from overseas that we don't already have. eg. We don't have rabies here. So no raccoons either. :(

Since this is # 4, you guys have probably already hashed out the details of how this works, but this would be my first one. So are we supposed to write two stories in half a month? Or do we rate based on receiving the found item and send it back on an honor system?

You don't have to write a full story. It can be a scene. Participants are rated based on receiving the inspirational item.

It can take a while, and in the past has, to get the return story.

Well, fudge. I guess I'll join next time. I came back to see about an answer to the question only to discover I was a day late. :-(
