hand dyed sock yarn swap

This is a US only swap.

Everyone will have ONE partner to send a skein/hank of yarn to. This should be yarn that you have DYED YOURSELF using acid dyes, kool-aid, wilton's, etc.

You should include enough yarn to make a standard pair of socks (so, ~400 yards of fingering weight, ~300 of worsted weight, etc.).

Please send your partner one of your best skeins, not the first one you ever did where the colors all bled together, or one that accidentally felted together on the stove top.

When you send your partner your lovingly dyed yarn, include a note about materials, what type of dye you used, and what methods you used.

I'm making this a rather long swap, so that we all have time to learn about our partner's color preferences or allergies, and to get things all dyed, dried, and hanked.

You must have a rating of 4.8 or above to participate, or contact me with exceptions.
