Rustic Spring Wall Decor

New officer to the group and I am very excited! I found this image with a tut on the Stampington website. I liked the gist of it and wanted to change a few things around to make it more "Spring" like. I think we all need some Spring decor to brighten our day!!

For this swap you are to find yourself some cardboard to use. This is a good time to break down a moving box you had lying around or an old shipping box from a past swap, just make sure that it is plain at least on the front side. Using this can give it a rustic/vintage feel and it saves it from possibly ending up in the landfill. The cardboard will be cut down to a rectangle, about 6"x7". Then you will decorate it.... Spring like. Think flowers and pastels or anything else that Springtime reminds you of. You may use other ephemera to help decorate this. The entire cardboard section does not have to be covered. I actually really liked the look of having the cardboard shown around the outside edge. Embellishments and paint are also great ways to decorate it. To finish it off you will attach a hanger. Punch two holes on the top, and loop wire through each hole to create a hanger.
