"What the &%^# have you done lately?" This was the last line in a movie I recently saw, Wanted. It made me start to think, really...what HAVE I done lately? Being a SAHM, my life is ruled by routine, routine and MORE routine. Most of the time I do not feel as if I accomplish much. That is when I started paying attention to what I really do each day and I realize I accomplish more than I thought. For this swap, you will keep a journal. It will end up with at least 30 entries. EACH ENTRY will have at least 3 sections from these categories: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual and Personal. Physical being things like excersizing 5 minutes longer, doing housework, anything that makes you sweat really! Mental is things like learning a new word, doing a crossword puzzle completely..anything that makes you think. Emotional are things like having a good cry, overcoming a fear, anything involving..emotions of any kind. Spiritual would be things like reading your religious text (ANY religious text), sharing a good scripture, anything involving your personal higher being with yourself or others. Personal would be things you may have done for others, hlding a door open, making someone smile, giving a good tip to the pizza guy. Anything involving OTHER people. Yes some of these may overlap. Something that is Perrsonal may also be Spiritual. Something that is Physical may be Emotional. You can write how they are both! For each of the 30 entries, use at least 3 different categories. If 2 overlap, that counts as two! This swap will be international so please keep mind of how big your journal is. Feel free to decorate your journal covers how you wish, decorate pages if you wish. It is pretty free form. Or if you just feel like writing your entries, that is fine. REALLY put thought into each entry and how it made you feel to accomplish something. This is a time consuming journal. I do not want flakers. Ratings of 4.9 or above please. I will be checking profiles through the signing up process and the day before assigning partners. If you HAVE NOT signed in at least 1 week before, you will be banned. Please have at least 15 MAILED swaps. This is not that hard because the last day to sign up is a good ways away. The main thing is to start TRYING to accomplish things each day. Get out of your rut and do something instead of letting things pass you by! I understand more people will be on the watchlist than joining! That is fine! It is totally understandable! It is a long way off so feel free to start now and then join sooner to the end day |
