I believe she's going by weight. The envie should post at a minimum of $1.56.

hmmm...I'd like to join, but have no postal scale...any idea about how many 4x6 sheets that would be?

For what it's worth, $1.56 is enough postage for a 5 oz "large envelope" (anything over a certain size or more than a certain thickness).

isabellasnow: It's hard to say, since it depends on what kind of paper you use. You could send more samples of thin papers than you could of cardstock, for example.

Hi, Sorry but I am a little lost on this envelope/postage thing. Is a 5oz. large envie like a large card envie or is it one of those mailer envelopes with the clasp. Also, if you want to send an extra goodie is it ok that your postage is more?

One of these days I'm going to get my own postage scale for home. I'll try to contact JoyAnne and see if she can tell us how many sheets; or perhaps she could edit the swap to a certain # of 4x6 sheets.
