Description:

So, my family gets a little jealous sometimes. I get all these neat items in the mail and most of the time they don't contain items for them. I thought..."hey why not make a swap for them" that would be fun! I haven't created a swap in some time.
Here's the low down:
* The package should contain at least one item for each family member.
* Your profile should have a section for your family members. Please, give your partner lots of ideas to choose from!!!!!
* I'm not going to make this mandatory but wrapping the items would be neat. You MUST at least include a note so the receiver knows who's items are who's and who the package is from.
* I think a $10 limit is reasonable? Don't you? That is of course before shipping.
* I would like to limit this to your household family members. Not to offend but this doesn't mean your nieces and nephews (unless you have guardianship and they live with you sorta thing).

As for the qualifications for joining the swap......
You MUST have no less than 5 sent and rated swaps (electronic doesn't count). No unexplainable 1's OR 3's. I will be reading each profile of the people who join. I have the right to ban whomever I choose. You MUST also have a good assortment of likes for each household family member on your profile. Any questions? Feel free to email me.

is it possible to limit the number of family members? What if I only have two and someone else has 6? seems a little off!

I agree with renees. I only have two in my household, and it does seem a little off if I am sending to someone with six or eight in theirs.

i don't think that it would be hard to do a fam of 6. I mean, kids like stickers and colored pencils and sometimes books. Assuming that you get stickers, a coloring book, and colored pencils or crayons for four kids, that's still only 12 dollars. And really, you could skip on the coloring book and print out coloring pages from online yourself. So that's still only 8 dollars. Then some tea for the parents and you might spend 15 dollars at the most. The point isn't to spend a lot. The point is to find things for each person in the family so they feel special too.

Well...I have 2 sets of twins and a husband so...maybe I shouldn't join? My hubby and kids are very easy to please but I don't want anyone feeling put out if they get us for a partner...

Seems to me like the $10 budget allows for any number of family members. Even if there are 12 you could split up Dollar Store items if you had to!! 2 or 6, it's still $10.

I have a total of 5 in the family. If my partner were to go to the $1 store they could get 2 items for each person in the family. If my partner had 10 in the family then each person could get 1 item. I don't think that's a bad deal. I don't really want to tell someone they can't join because they have 8 kids. I don't think that's really fair.

Sounds like fun. I just have my parents who I live with but I would love to send to someone who had more. I love a challenge! My parents would be totally surprised if I recieved things for them, I think it would be a nice surprise!
