Mini Journal w/Prompts

**This is a journal/story swap. Newbies welcome with at least 5 mail (not electronic) swaps completed. No recent 3s or 1s without explanations. **

Your journal can be any shape or size. I am not limiting the dimensions, but you need to send something YOU would want to receive. 3s will be given for crappy workmanship. Put some effort into it. I'm no artist, but you can tell when someone has tried.

This is an international swap. The postage isn't THAT much more to ship a small journal overseas, but please keep shipping costs in mind when signing up and also while creating your journal.

Pick 10 of the following journal/story prompts, and also create 5 of your own. That's 15 entries. You can start on your journal NOW, since these are NOT profile specific.

Decorate the cover of your journal with paper, fabric, markers, stickers, or whatever else you'd like to use. Don't just leave it blank.

There are plenty of journal options as well as story options, you decide what way yours goes. It is really simple. :)

• What would you do if you wanted to be friends with someone who spoke no English?
• What do you think about when you can't fall asleep?
• What kind of t.v. commercial would you like to make? Describe it.
• Explain how to play your favorite game. (Childhood game if you don't play them anymore.)
• A drunk man sits next to you, thinks you're his buddy, and starts confessing the truth to you. What is "the truth" he is speaking of? (Did he just bury someone's body in the backyard.. is he secretly a woman..)
• List 10 things that annoy you. Pick one to go into detail about.
• You hear a knock on the door. You answer. No one is there, but on the ground you see three items: a paper bag with something in it, a key, and a phone number written on the back of a business card. Who left them and why?
• Write about a dream you've recently had. What do you think it symbolized?
• A man is on a desert island with a pack on his back. The police came to see what the cause of death was. They looked inside the pack and found what killed him. What was inside pack that killed him?
• Imagine a world that contained no written language. What would be different?
• Imagine you had a hundred dollars, but you couldn't keep it. You had to give it away to a person or charity. Who would you give it to? What would you want them to do with it?
• Describe your favorite season (fall, spring, summer, or winter). Tell what kinds of things you like to do during that season.
• Invent a new kind of sandwich. Describe what is on it and how you would make it. (Drawing a picture would be great.)
• If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose? Why?
• You know you're going to die, what would your last meal consist of? (Cut outs from magazines, or drawing a picture would be neat.)
• Would you be willing to become extremely ugly physically if it meant you would live for 1,000 years at any physical age you chose?
• You discover that your wonderful one-year-old child is, because of a mix-up at the hospital, not yours. Would you want to exchange the child to correct the mistake?
• What's the most valuable thing that you own that did not come from a store?
• What things have you missed in life because you were going too fast?
• Do you feel you are successful? Why or why not? What have you accomplished (or failed to accomplish) that makes you feel this way?
• Go to your favorite room in your house. Look out the window. Describe the view.
