Description:

Seeing the Grand Success I had with the first crack at this swap, I have decided to post another one! I <3 My local Tea Shop!

What I would like you to do for this swap, is send the 2 most unusual kinds of tea you can possibly find to your partners. But please take a look at profiles to make sure that you aren't going to give someone an allergic reaction. I am also making this international, because there are so many different kinds of teas out there that I am sure that none of us have ever heard of. Tea CAN be loose leaf, as long as it is packaged well enough to withstand the trip, and if your partner enjoys it. Ok, recap:

*2 partners

*Send the most interesting/unusual Tea you can find, 2 kinds (Enough for 1 cup of each)

*Add a little note telling them who its from and what the teas are

*Swap to begin after Christmas, to give you guys some breathing room

ALSO:...Ratings of at least 4.8 to join, Newbies Welcome with a filled out profile, no 3 or 1 ratings in the last few months, I WILL be checking profiles. Any Questions feel free to PM me or leave a note here on the board! Happy Swapping!

Happy to join, just wanted to mention I cannot stomach GINGER. It makes me ill.. Thank you!

rubyhousesliprs 01/20/2010 #

Sorry forgot to add please no loose leaf, I'm not equipped to use loose leaf tea. Thanks.

I'd rather not have loose leaf if possible. Although if the tea is not individually packed, please put them in ziplock baggies for me! Thanks!

I don't think you guys have anything to worry about! And ya, I understand about the ginger, I hate it too, lol.

nooris 01/29/2010 #

Rather no loose tea for me, thanks!

loose or bagged is fine for me. Any color/flavor/type of tea (but no licorice flavor please.) Can't wait to share mine, and see what I get!

Just recently I received tea from another swap and had to pay the extra postage fees on it because the sender didn't pay enough postage and the tea bags made the envelope non machinable. Do me a favor whoever sends please make sure there's enough postage or I will let the letter be returned and mark it never received. Thanks.

Well, either way, my partners will get both loose leaf and bagged, as I have my awsome loose tea in bags already ^^ YAY I can't wait to send this off, lol.

I totally just noticed...that it still says that the swap will start after Christmas...LOL I will have to change that next time I post.

Hey yall...I like both loose and bagged tea, and I'll drink anything, though I'm not as big a fan of rooibos and mate.

rubyhousesliprs 02/25/2010 #

Close to 2 week deadline and I haven't received anything from either of my 2 partners. I'll have to rate them a 1 if there's nothing in the next 3 days.

Never received one swap.
