fivegallonbucket - We buried my dad's ashes in May. His urn got dropped 3 times before we got it to the hole. Then the urn landed upside down. I thougt of this movie too - sad goodbye's gone wrong.

"We are just days away from the 6th Annual Lebowski Fest which will be taking over Louisville, Kentucky on July 20th and 21st with music by Dr. Dog, Vietnam, Th' Legendary Shack*Shakers and an appearance by Liam. Weekend Passes are still available here, but are going quick!

We are also happy to announce Lebowski Fest will be returning to the City of Angels for Lebowski Fest LA on October 12th and 13th to celebrate the release of the new fan book, I'm a Lebowski, You're a Lebowski.

For the Achievers across the pond, Lebowski Fest UK will be in Edinburgh, Scotland and London, England on August 24th and 30th for some bowling, beverages and what-have-you. The UK poster art is ready and looks bloody awesome."

im sooooo awful ;) one of my coworkers & i made a fake "woman seeking man" post on craigslist "looking for the dude: long haired, bathrobe wearing bowler with a penchant for caucasians" ... we got 12 DIRTY responses (nasty men that had no clue) BUT 3 people who knew it was a joke! so under a newly created "maude" email, we corresponded back and forth all day with lebowski quotes. i was fun... maybe a bit evil, but it made the day go by quick :)

I am on vacation next week and I plan to have my swap stuff put together then. I won't complain about an extended date if anyone else needs time.

Heck - knowing that I have more time might just make me wait until after vacation to get my swap together.

I was all set to send until I got my partner assignment. Then I had to reevaluate the package because I'm not sure the liquids will travel well internationally. (Not THAT liquid. Or THAT one, either. Goodness. What are you people thinking?)

Anyway, I'll be sending soon, but I don't mind extending the deadline, if others want that. I will abide.
