This is my first swap!!! I found this site after talking to my friend. She is involved in 2 swaps herself from another site. I had an idea and wanted to look into how to get it started. I have a lot of craft supplies just laying around and thought this would be fun. Please e-mail me some info telling me how and where to send!!!!! Thanks, Tammy

tammy, look under the F.A.Q. link to find out more, but here are the basics:

After the Signup Date (aug. 15) you can login to Swap-bot to see who your swap recipient(s) is. Make sure your e-mail is set up to accept messages from questionsATswap-bot.com.

then send your package out by sept. 1st.

after you send your package, log in to the swap and click on "sent", so your partner will know that you sent it.

hope that helps!

Hello! This is will be my first swap at swap-bot - i´m looking forward! I am interested in fabrics and ribbons, and things i can use to make bags.

swaparoo 08/16/2006 #

hi! i would love to have ribbons, fabric, wool felt, vintage fabric or books, ink pads, cardstock or other papers!

user2782 08/16/2006 #

Hello! I love all things vintage...fabric, ribbon, buttons, beads, etc. I also love craft magazines, felt, interesting papers, and those little papier-mache boxes. (But I'll be really happy with anything, just so you know :) ) Thanks...I'm really excited about this swap!

I love anything that has a found object feel, old game pieces, ephemera, ribbons nad fibers for crazy quilting, shrine boxes (or anything to make a shrine), fabric, collage materials, halloween, funky rubber stamps, old odd game boards etc. Feel free to email if you want more info! I find that if I have a question I email the person just to make sure i am on the right page, my package to my partner ends up being that much more special and well received! I got my partner, and she wants things that I have a ton of that I want to share...I just sent my boyfriend to the post office with the box! Yippeee! Its nice to get a partner that likes awesome things!!

Hi, I'm leaving the same message in different swaps I'm in: "As I moved to a new house I didn't have internet for a while (too long I must say) and just after... we had a terrible storm last sunday and ran out internet connection :o( sooooo, today was a surprise since I wasn't expecting it until next week!!! I have to ask my swap partner to excuse me but I really didn't know how to sent my communication to confirm that I sent my items! Please Jennifer if you read this (I'm also sending an e-mail if this thing stays on long enough) I just want to let you know that I already sent you my package. Sorry again.

Received a wonderful package from Brazil today. Believe it is from ClaraBeauty? Love the stuff. I had never seen the one item - small wooden bead covered with crochet thread? I may not be explaining it correctly but I do love the stuff.

user2759 09/11/2006 #

Uff... thanks God you liked, Susan :)

I tried to put in the packagem things I think you couldn´t find easily in your country.

For the others girls, if you want to see the beads covered in crochet, you can see them there: http://www.flickr.com/photos/clarabeauty/198830512/in/set-935923/

Hi there, what's your favorite activity in your leisure time? Do you often play online games? I know an interesting game named diggy. I really like this game. It helps me relax a lot after stressful working hours. Let's try it, you will like it!

I find charm in slice-of-life books that capture the everyday joys and struggles of ordinary people. And of course, I can't resist action-packed fantasies tunnel rush that keep me on the edge of my seat with thrilling plots and epic encounters.
