ATC - Art is in The Lyrics

I noticed that people who do not meet my posted requirements are still signing up for the swap anyways. If you do not meet the requirements by the sign up deadline you will be dropped to protect other swappers in the swap from flaking or receiving a poor swap.

How much of the lyrics have to appear on the ATC? I'm figuring since the size of an ATC does not lend itself to much then you must mean just part of the lyrics. Correct?

However much or little you need for your artistic idea. There is no requirement for how many words you must use, but it should reflect the song a little bit andnot just EVERY song. Like dont use "the" all by its self allthough it may be in a song.. and dont just use "i love you" because its in thousands of songs.. does that make sense?

Here's another question.

I listen to many bands that many people haven't heard of. Can I use lyrics from songs that are not as well known such as "Bumblebee Tuna" by Mephiskapheles or "Code Blue" by TSOL?

Disclaimer- I will not use the lyrics from "Code Blue." Its a ridiculous song that is mildly offensive. I just used it as an example.

Ok, ty for response on question about how much of lyrics need to be used on ATC. I'm going to give this a try with some lyrics and artwork and see what I come up with before making the commitment. I'm considering using John Lennon lyrics and a sketch of John Lennon that my daughter sketched that is incredibly a good sketch if I say so.

Cool! And yes you may use lyrics from bands people havent heard of. I have alot of local bands around here that i listen to with amazing lyrics and I use them in ATC's from tiem to time. As long as you provide the song and artist on the back of the ATC as stated above.

mailed both my ATCs, Elliott's hardware store here has a post office iside that is open on Sat 9am - 5pm so I was able to mail the one to Canada partner & fellow Texan partner in Dallas
