WOW! I have just discovered LUCKY PARCELS and even though I am currently hugely busy in the run up to Christmas I cant help but look forward to Spring, pastel colours and the uplifting images it evokes. So.....for this swap you will send one lucky parcel to one partner. The theme is SPRING TIME (apologies if you are in the Southern hemisphere where autumn is just around the corner). Put together a lucky parcel worth 5.00 pounds sterling ($12.00 US) and include AT LEAST five different items. One of which should be handmade. So items can be fabric, ribbons, craft supplies, buttons, charms, stationery...you can work it out. But check with your partner. Make it beautiful and a joy to receive. Your Lucky Parcel must be wrapped up stunningly to match SPRINGTIME theme. Package in a box, tin, cute bag, etc. Another swap co-ordinator has suggested that you do a search on Flickr For "FAA Lucky Parcels", where you can get some wonderful ideas! If you have flaked on any previous swaps then you will not be able to join. Simple as that. Newbies are welcomed but you must fill in a profile prior to signing up or you'll be excluded. Please make sure you meet these requirements or message me if you have any questions regarding this. Remember to package appropriately as this is swap requirement!! Most of all, let yourself go, be creative and enjoy the fun of swapping! All my swaps are INTERNATIONAL as Lucky Parcels should not be heavy to send.

iS THERE ANY SPECIFIC REQUIRMENTS FOR THIS PARCEL? DOES THE ITEMS HAVE TO BE IN PASTEL COLORS? I THINK THIS THEME IS NOT CLEAR.... MAYBE YOU MENT THAT EACH ONE WILL SEND WHAT SPRING TIME MEANS TO HIM...

Good point mylight, apologies for any confusion. Well, Springtime, let me see, to me it means the promise of warmer weather, the colours of daffodils, violets and primroses, lush greens and bright mornings. It means that winter is edging away and so goodbye to the heavy woolly fabrics and hello to lighter weight cottons. In the fields close to my house there could be lambs and rabbits. It means i can spend more time walking my dog rather than rushing home to warm my toes. My lucky parcel will represent something of all that. So your parcel should include something of what springtime means to you but keep an eye on your partners profile. Any clearer? x

just to let you know that Â£5 sterling is less than $12.

So really $12 should work out about Â£8-9 sterling at the moment...........:-)
