Those of us who are addicted to Facebook's infamous FarmVille are always seeking new neighbours. Whether we are going after ribbons, free gifts or better chances at adopting lost animals, we can't get enough! If this swap goes as planned, you should wind up with 12 new FarmVille neighbours! How It Works: - Once partners are assigned, send out an email to each one with a link to your facebook profile. - If you chose a username for your profile, the link will look like: http://www.facebook.com/username - If you have not chosen a username, the link will look like: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1234567890 - Once you receive your email with your partner(s) links, add them as a friend on Facebook. - Once you've been approved as their Facebook friend, send a FarmVille neighbour request. Rating: The swap is considered sent once you have sent a Facebook friend request to your partner(s). This is to be done by the swap deadline. The swap is considered received and completed once you are neighbours on FarmVille - at this point you may rate your partners. If you delete your new neighbour within an unreasonable timeframe after completing the swap (say, an hour or a few days), they may change your rating to a lower one for not meeting swap requirements. The idea of this swap is to get some new neighbours for FarmVille and have some fun with gifting, etc - not just completely a Swap-Bot swap and calling it a day. Rules: - You must have a Facebook account. (The link does not need to be posted on your Swap-Bot profile.) - You must play FarmVille! You can be new to the game or well established, it doesn't matter. Everyone needs neighbours! - Don't delete your new neighbour right away. As mentioned, the idea here is to have fun with FarmVille, not just to complete a swap. - That said, you are not required to keep your new neighbour(s) forever. Use your discretion here but at let's at least stay with each other for at least a few weeks. - No newbies, please. - Swappers with ratings of 4.9 or higher only. Let's get farming!

no problem on starting another (join mine too) - I was thinking of increasing partner numbers now that I have more people in mine.
I had even considered changing it on the LAST day to be EVERYONE that signed up (if 15 people, then 15 partners) but I was not sure how well that would go over.

If we keep joining all these, then we will all get the celebrity ribbon!

How do you find out your facebook number? Or id? I never cared much for facebook until I found FarmVille, so I'm a facebook novice.

@maybeblue Don't worry about being a Facebook novice! This swap doesn't require you to interact with your partners through Facebook (unless you really want to) - just FarmVille. :) When you go to your Facebook profile (your actual profile page, not the home/newsfeed page) just copy the link in your address bar. You can delete everything after ...?id=123456790 (or whatever your number is), because it's just tracking information and not required to get to your profile. Does this help?

I'm in. I can use more neighbours and I like sending and receiving gifts as its lots of fun, especially with all the new features in farmville now.

@clebeans Agreed! I like the new things they've been adding to keep it interesting; FarmVille is definitely my favourite out of all the Zynga Facebook games.

@Mamabemus Well one you've added your partners on Facebok you can play any application with them! I was in a Farmville neighbour swap next week but those sane people are now also my neughbours on Cafe World, FishVille, etc!

I think this is a great swap. I am addicted to several of the games on facebook, including Cafe World, Vampire Wars, Mafia Wars, Farmville, and a few others.

4 out of 6 of my parnters did not have their facebook link on their profile. sad panda. hopefully they will respond via email. Everyone needs to make sure their facebook link is on their profile

The swap description specifically said that you did not have to have your facebook link on your profile. I don't really want my facebook link on my profile. But I will email my partners my link naturally.

@Cassidymonster Indeed, it was not a requirement of the swap to have the link on your profile, because as I anticipated and as @maybeblue confirmed, some people don't want their link so openly public for whatever reasons! Also, the deadline of the swap is not until tomorrow, December 3rd, so be patient. :)
