Description:

The holiday season is a hard time for those without homes, including pets. Through the Pet Postcard Project we're giving pets in shelters the ability to have a good meal.

For this round let's make it about what your pets are thankful for. Whether it's a warm bed, peanut butter bisquits, or a comfy lap, tell and show your partner what your pet is thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Now for the swap details:

This swap has two parts.

Part one: Visit Dogvice and check out the postcards they have. They gather homemade postcards on different subjects related to pets and for every postcard they receive they donate one pound of food to animal shelters. You are to make at least one postcard for them and send it to them. Please include a picture of your pet (or put your pet on the postcard!) so that they know who is giving the advice/confessions/wishes/excuses!

Part two: Make a homemade postcard based on the subjects on Dogvice and send it to your partner.

The categories they have are: Dog/Catvice, Dog/Catfessions, Dog/Cat Wishes, and Dog/Cat Excuses. These can be funny, sad, informative, whatever you want!

Requirements

  • At least a 4.8 rating

  • This is open to those who have at least 5 mailed swaps since this requires sending to a partner and sending to an organization.

  • DO NOT JUST SLAP STICKERS ON IT AND CALL IT GOOD!

  • Be creative, have some fun, and show some critter love! Remember, this is to raise food for animals in need of homes and love.

  • The address for the organization is on the right hand column after the description. They also have a tutorial on How to Make Postcards.

  • Postcards must be sent in envelopes to both your partner and the organization. If you can, put a little note in the envelope saying you're a swapper from Swap-bot! Show the love!
