When the Zentangle is completed cut it out and add a ribbon for hanging. The back should be decorated in a way to incorporate your name and date or add a small tag with name and date on it. You will make one snowflake and one star for one swap partner. Thats a total of 2 ATC sized Ornaments for one partner. The usual swap-bot rules apply. Flaking will not be tolerated. You must be in good standing and have a rating of 4.6 or better. If you have a problem let your swap partner and me know. Any questions Message me any time.

Note: you can do the snowflake on a 3.5 square as its hard to make a rectangular snow flake look good.

Maybe you could change the dates? You have the date to send by the day after the last signup date? I think that might scare off some people.

I don't see much of a problem, really... It's not a profile-specific swap so there's no real need to wait til the signup day is closed before getting the swap ready to mail. I'm going to start drawing mine tonight, and they'll easily be ready to send by Nov. 15! All I will need is to write the address on the envelope and pop it into the mail drop!

We want the send-by to be early enough that people will receive in time for tree-dressing day (which for a lot of folks is the day after Thanksgiving), so I think the send-by of Nov 15 is pretty good....

...but actually, if it were me hosting the swap, I would probably want at least three days between close of signup and send-by. That way people would have three days to see what their partner's address is. With only a one-day turnaround, then if there's a problem with your computer access on the day the swap partners are assigned, you're shafted.

So yah.. can we get a couple of extra days between signup and send-by? Thanks!!

Sorry people, my mistake. I often set up swaps in the wee hours of the night /morning as its the only time I can call "me time". This means I'm tired and prone to mistakes. I will try not to do this in the future. If I do anything like this in the future just message me and I will fix it. I try to give at least 2 weeks between signup and send dates. I hate quick turn around swaps. I don't intend to make you all do them either. The various swaps may however over lap. I try for variety so there is something for everyone.

Oh gosh! One time I set up a swap and forgot to assign a send-by. That was a mess!

Thanks for fixing the dates, Tess! Thank you for giving us time in between!! Thank you for hosting such wonderful swaps for us!!!!! :)

I love making Ornaments for any time of the year. Anyone have suggestions for future ones or want to host one let me know. I think unusual original and shiny are best.
