America Recycles Day Craft Swap

So upon reading this article in BH&G magazine that Nov 15th is designated as America Recyler Day - in it's 12th year - how I missed this being such an advid recycler.

So since this is a quick notice craft swap - you will have one (1) partner - you will send along 3 handcrafted or 1 very large item(s) made from only RECYCLED ITEMS!!!

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO CRAFT:

~ 3 Recycled Cards w/envies(they will be new unless you save envies you get your cards in) - postcards (made from old cards you received and saved just for this! LOL!)

~bottle cap caft - be really creative

~ Old sweater converted into a dog coat and then the receiving partner can keep if they have a dog or donate it to a animal shelter)

~ Old sweater into other items - purse - clothes pin bag(can convert an old shirt for this idea too!)

~ Soda cans - seen them once cut(be carefully) into outdoor pinwheels for the garden.

~ Plastic soda rings (those 6 pack rings) - seen those many years ago into ornaments(large ones) that light up for outside.

~ Jeans - covert in to a grocery tote - purse - (3) locker pockets (sure you have those magnets you get as giveaways) for a teens locker - or even if you have a locker at work! Can also be used on the side of the frig to hold a pad and pencil.

~ Lightbulbs - into decorations for holidays - ghost - turkeys - santas and so on (pack in those recycled packing materials we all keep to prevent breakage)

~ Tomato trays - remember them - still around! Any ideas?

~ Read your partners profile for ideas!!!

Swap Specifications:

Must have 5 rated swaps! Not just sent! The partner must have rated you!

A 4.85 or higher rating - NO NO SENDS in the last 2 months

No 1's or 3's with out good reason in the last 3 months.

Everyone must send out on Nov 14th(15th is a Sunday). If you will be sending out earlier let me know, Try not to be to early!
