What you are aiming for is a tiny ATC shrine memorializing the perfect pin-up girl. For this swap, any decade prior to the 1970s will do. Partially clothed pin-ups, please! This swap is not about nudes -- I have a great appreciation for the female form in the nude but thatâ€™s not this swap! Also, no violent or abusive images permitted. Iâ€™m looking for Betty Grable in her bathing suit, Marilyn Monroe with her skirt blowing up, or the light and fun pin-ups by artists like Gil Elvgren, Enoch Bolles, & Alberto Vargas. Vintage bathing beauties like the icon for this swap are perfect choices, too! This is an international swap and you must be willing to mail outside your home country. REQUIREMENTS: Your cards must be 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, and as sturdy as playing cards. You are making 2 cards for 2 partners (4 total cards.) Cards will have at least three components -- your backing card, your pin-up picture and some other form of light embellishment. This means you can use hand drawn or digital components, but you need to do some manual glue/paste/tape work. Embellishments can be glitter, additional collaged item, ribbon, flat buttons -- whatever you want to add. For this swap you do not want to send simply a picture stuck on a backing card. You want to spiff it up a bit! Do your best work -- make and send cards you'd be happy to receive. On the back of your cards (at minimum) list: your Swap-bot screen name, your location in the world, and the title of your pin-up. WANT TO JOIN? I'll be assigning partners this evening (July 5.) I would love to see some pictures posted as you complete your cards.

I've set a long time line, so please put a good effort into your cards and send on time! Sending late should not be an option, unless you are experiencing a major/unexpected/dire event. And my expectation is that anyone participating in this trade will communicate with their partners (and me) if they fall off schedule.

I also expect that each of you will post to this thread when you receive your cards. Please rate your partner in a timely fashion -- and remember that cards coming from outside your home country can take 2 full weeks (or longer) to arrive. Before you rate anyone as a late sender/no send check to see where they are located, and communicate with them! Please!

I did send my items to Lux Valentine and Mikkary today....I noticed that I must have accidentally clicked sent late the other evening. So my items are in the box as of this evening but there is no pick up here in Canada again till Tuesday, we don't have weekend pickup and Monday is a holiday.
