Description:

I asked Elizabeth if I could do a number 2 to her first random poetry because I just loved doing it. You get out your books you have been reading or read looking through it find a page and count every tenth (10) word for 15 words and create a poem, from them. You can send them on a postcard or notecard to your swapper. They may make some sense (I was surprised) or they may be too random but do something with those words. Using your creativity and imagination to its fullest. You can send the same one to all three swappers or do it again. Make sure you put the words you use down separately from the poem or what you would consider a poem and maybe even the book you got them from. Openned to any newbie interested in writing with a decently made profile. Good rating a must 4.7 and up. I will check that out. International as it is only a pc or a notecard. Enjoy.

This sounds challenging, but I love words so I'm going to try it.

You can send the same card to the 3 swappers if you like. I finished mine and it really is challenging but fun to do,

This was such fun last time! And the poems I received, and the one I made were made sense in (often) strange ways!

I'll be making the postcards for this to match the poem - so expect a little additional 'treat' if you are my swap-partner...

can't wait to see what (if) I get because random poetry is often very insightful! And btw if you are my send-partner, handmade is just fine, or check my profile for an arty idea for your postcard.

It is ironic that some make sense and if one doesn't to you then go to another page in the book. I have mine on my blog if you are interested. www.ladydy5.blogspot.com

Ladydy5, I got a comment back saying that I had 'added more words'.

Your description does not specify that you should use ONLY those words - it says 'do something with those words - using your creativity and imagination to its fullest'. Have I simply misinterpreted, not read carefully enough, or what? Considering that it would be difficult to use creativity AND imagination simply by rearranging fifteen random words, and also that you did specify that those words should be listed separately from the poem, I can't see that my submission was 'wrong'...

Perhaps I'm just sulking because even though my postcard was a carefully handmade work of art and the poem equally carefully crafted, I didn't get a heart? :) Ah well, you can't please everyone all of the time. I'd just like clarification for next time.

Hugs, Judith
