Description:
One partner. One store-bought journal. 30+ of your favorite quotes. You will have one month to collect at least 30 of your favorite quotes and record them in your journal, one per page. You do not have to fill the entire journal. Consider it as the start of your partner's personal quote book. You aren't required to do anything more than simply writing a quote per page. (Please take care to write neatly!) Though, for hearts, you are free to decorate and embellish as if it were a scrapbook. Add stickers, doodles, photos even. I highly encourage some sort of decoration, but please don't rate your partner based on their creative abilities. The size and number of pages in the journal is up to you. The best option is the standard, slightly bigger than a paperback size journal you can buy from Barnes & Noble or other book stores. Stores like TJ Maxx and Ross have them for under $10, therefore I suggest looking there first. This swap is senders choice. You can start collecting your quotes before I assign partners, or you can wait until you get a partner to purchase the journal based on their likes, favorite color, etc. You are not required to tailor your journal based on their profile for this swap. You will have 30 days to complete the swap. Write a quote a day, or do them all at once. This should be ample time to find a nice variety of meaningful or funny quotes.Thumbs up for lesser known quotes, too. This will be an international swap. No newbies please - unless you can prove yourself to be a trustworthy swapper via Etsy or some other example. No recent no-sends without good explanations. I reserve the right to remove any person for the swap if I believe them to be untrustworthy.

Yaaayyy! I love this idea for a swap. I actually have recently started keeping a large journal with all my favorite quotes in it, and I look forward to reading other peoples' favorites, too! :]

oh my goodness, one of my most favorite things ever is quotes. mine will probably have more than thirty, haha. and i'm so excited so see what others' favorite quotes are. :]

For those of you who are still semi new, you have about 2 weeks to boost your ratings with a few quick newbie swaps. I may allow a few new swappers if I feel I can trust them to not back out.

Gan you give links for same examples for journals,please?We don`t have those stores and I wont to be sure to use the right one.

oh my goodness, i found the perfect journal yesterday and barnes and noble...but it's REALLY heavy. so idk if i'll be able to use it..but i'm bound and determined to find something else really pretty for this. :] - L

I love the idea of this swap too, but I'd prefer using a mini composition book since they are lightweight and inexpensive to send. As you are talking about something more costly to buy and thus heavier and more costly to send, I probably won't be joining - but I'll be thinking about you all! Great idea, erinbit!.
