Yay! Christmas!! \o/ Cold weather, hot chocolate, houses covered in lights and presents under the tree.. It's definitely an awesome month! (And I don't know about you..) But looking through my stocking was always one of my favorite parts of the holiday. I think it was the 'digging for hidden treasure' aspect of it. :3{huhu}
So I've created a swap to send our partner an awesomely stuffed Christmas stocking!!
.
You will send your partner 1 (regular/standard sized) Christmas stocking (handmade or store bought; traditional or non-traditional) stuffed with an assortment of cute, kawaii, fabulous things to make them ecstatic with happiness while digging through it.
And you will also include one handmade item made by you. Something you specialize in making? Something new you want to try out? The decision is up to you. ;)
.
Value of items inside the stocking should be around $10-15. But you're more than welcome to go over that if you want to really spoil your partner. =p

NOTES
!!! please read !!! - This swap is international, so please be prepared for possibly expensive international shipping charges and long shipping times. If you receive an international partner, it would be appreciated if you could send as soon as possible so that you can ensure they get their package sometime before Christmas.
Because this is a big $ swap, you will need to have at least a 4.9 to participate in it and no 1's/"no-sends" for the last 6 months.
Also, due to the value of this swap, you will need to have completed 5 (package/craft/type 3) swaps and been rated for them by the sign-up deadline.
And pleaseeee have a well-filled out profile. The success of swaps like these depend on you having a filled out profile for your partner to get a better understanding of what you like.
Once you've been assigned your partner, please read over their profile so you can have an idea of what they'd like. And please don't send your partner leftovers you have piling away in a dark corner from old swaps (unless you know they'd love it.) Let's not give our fellow group members reason to regret joining this swap, okay? =)
Edit (10/25/09): Knowingly sending your partner something they dislike or are allergic to would not be meeting the swap requirements. That is, to say... if your partner doesn't like lacey stuff, it's not okay for you to send them doilies just because you think it's cute. And it's certainly not okay to send your partner candy/food/tea they're allergic to if they have that allergy mentioned in their profile.
No non-raters, please! And while I'm at it, flakers will not be tolerated as well. Flaking or non-rating in any of my swaps will get you banned from future swaps of mine (both public and group swaps).
