Description:

I love fat 1/4s and this one will be themed "Christmas Red and Green". Since I love to sew, I thought that a quilter's fat quarter themed swap would be fun. You can use them to make quilts, hats, purses, doll clothes, or anything that takes about 1/4 yd of material. Approx: 18" x 22"

We are on swap #27 back for a Christmas month and it will be for "Christmas Red and Green" colors are reds, greens, golds, and silvers, or anything that makes you think of Christmas or red or green, Santas, angels, trees, ornaments, sleighs, reindeers, or colors of Christmas colors prints, solids, glitter, Christmas prints, reds and greens, golds, or anything designed to fits this theme, and if your not into Christmas then just ask for solid colors in reds and greens or golds, or anything related. This one will have a ton of options for you to choose from. Think gifts or snow or fireplaces, any themed print or plain colors for the month of December this time, since it is the "Christmas" month I thought it would be appropriate as a theme and you can choose any "Christmas Red and Green" print theme or plain colors designs. These swaps are fun and I love doing them.

This swap will be all about "Christmas Red and Green" colors and prints. That means any material as long as it has a "Christmas Red and Green" theme of solid colors or prints in your fat 1/4.

This is an open swap to overseas and USA.

You will have one partner to send to.

Send:

  1. 4 fat quarters in "Christmas Red and Green" theme or solid color red, green, or gold colored thread [any color to match your package colors]

  2. "Christmas" themed or plain colored note cards/ journal/ stationery, notebook for school

  3. "Christmas" themed or plain colored thread

  4. "Christmasw" themed or plain colored surprise gift

Make your package go together....

The fat 1/4 can be solid, prints, dots, stripes, or any pattern as long as they include summer colors or the "Christmas" theme.

You should send a package that keeps true to the "Christmas" prints or solids, theme as much as possible and is worth at least $15-$20 (pre-postage). If you wish to substitute other items for #2 and #3 that is ok as long as it is something to do with sewing and the package theme color or colors.

Look at your partners profile and include extra items such as notions, buttons, stitckers, needles, pins,a pattern, bias trim, ribbon, lace,or any other item you think in prints that would be nice to receive. This can be an inexpensive mailing package. That is why it will be fun.

Please have a rating of 4.75 and zero no sends. Newbies are welcome; please have a well filled out profile and email me BEFORE you join. Otherwise I will delete you from the swap!!

Lastly, please rate your partner accordingly. When you receive your swap, rating them is a great way to let them know you received it.

If you have not received your swap in a timely manner, please email me and I will try to assist you in conacting your partner.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this swap.

Happy Swapping!

I am a bit confused... you mention "We are on swap #27 back for a Christmas month and it will be for "Christmas Red and Green" colors are browns, rust, mustard, and tan, or anything that makes you think of Christmas or red or green. Is this correct?

Since the # of participants of the swaps have declined this will be the last one for awhile. Tt seems to have died down a lot and so sadfully I must end these monthly swaps.. :(

Hi - so to sum this all up and eventually get to my question (ha ha):

We'll send 4 Christmas FQ's, thread to match, Christmas themed or plain notecards/journal/stationary, and two Christmas themed or plain surprises?

I'm asking for clarification because #3 and #4 are the same. Are we sending two surprises or one?

My package will definitely include more than one because that's just me. But I thought I'd check just to be sure.

Great swap idea, by the way! :-)

LOL...that is funny, it is matching thread, in color, 4 fat 1/4s , note cards or stationery in the theme colors, and a surprise gift....

Hope that helps.....
