What is "standard size?"

help i am so new and I am not sure how to swap. I just started making atc's and i need to know the ropes can someone lead me?

ATCs are always 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches-same as commercial trading cards (sports etc) they should fit into the protector sleeves for the cards or the collector pages-many artists ame cards that fold up or have hinged or moveable pieces but they always fold down to the STANDARD size---you can buy blanks to make your cards, they have ones that fold like greeting crads, icon cards, accordian---some places make card bases cut out of old game boards or matte board

ATC sleeves are readily available on EBAY_many sellers have them very inexpensive and ship international

Dear Lord, The Hostess has 7 - 1s...are you kidding??? She should be working on fixing the 1s instead of creating more swaps.

Pardon me, but have a look at the 7 responses to the ones. I havent been able to GET AHOLD of those who I need to send things to! Do a little bit of research past the '1's part and you might have figured that out.

I'm not sure that hosting swaps correlates with 1s - she's not going to be the one doing all the sending. I'm new to swap-bot and I'm surprised to find such snarkiness amidst such creative people whom I generally think of as open and accepting. Kind of a turn off...hope I don't come across it much or I won't be interested in hanging around.

Dinkeybird... it's all over the place. Beware people who like to judge your art. You might work hard on something, and mail it off and have them critique it as crap. And if you mess up once, no matter how hard you've worked to get passed it, people here love to condemn you for it.

Hmmm, I might stick to private swaps off of my own site after my initial run here. Too bad the admins can't do something about it. It's got to hurt their visitor rate when people leave after having enough of the negativity.

Naoya, I am very proud of you for fixing your mistakes. That is what life is about, fixing the things we've messed up on and getting better at life, creating a better US... I am very proud of you for standing tall and working on this. I am very sorry for all the drama that others keep putting in your way. I guess they feel that they themselves are perfect. I do apologize for it all. I'm glad you are working so hard at getting things squared away. Don't let the naysayers get you down darlin' keep your head up. To be honest, it's the ones who have been badmouthing that makes me want to run from swap bot. but each time I think I am done, I see a swap from you and think of how you've pulled yourself up and over and i am encouraged.
