Faerlyfaerie, You are correct it is going to be the picture side. And also im glad everyone likes this idea it came to me last night as i was falling asleep, And i could hardly wait to get out of bed this morning and create this swap.

I make all my envelopes from Calenders. I would like to join this swap, but I don't have twelve from one calender. I have tons of them, but I get Calenders given to me from friends and sometimes they are missing months.

So I was wanting to know the same as Aubreysmom can they be mix and match. So long as they are good and useable?

What gum do you use for the envies?

When making envelopes, I prefer to use double sided tape, rather than glue. It's less messy and sticks really well.

I just heard from Lavender and she said would could make them from different calendars, as long as we made 12. I'm signing up!

Jinty, I use either regular tape or clear packing tape to seal them.

So sorry ladies i hadnt noticed any new comments. As artybeth3 stated they dont have to all be from the same calendar just have to be 12 envies made out of calendars. I too use regular tape to seal them im not into all that fancy stuff. :)

What i am trying to figure out is after you have got them asembled,.....if you were sending them and wanted to seal them,what do you use.I am just making sure i get it right .LOL.Or do you just tuck the flap inside the card..

As stated above i tape the shut with clear scotch tape. When i am assembling them i use a glue stick.

Well, yesterday I went to one of my favorite places to poke around in (SCRAP, in Portland, OR) because I know they have old calendars for 25 cents! I found 3 that I liked, and thus I was a crazy women between last night and today. I now have piles of envelopes ready for this swap. I hope my partner likes the ones I've made :)

Lol ArtyBeth3 sounds like what i did last night i made lots of tiny envelopes out of an old book till 11 last night.

Whoo Hoo! I just tried it and it turned out great! Mine are going to be so colorful that you will need a plain white address label for the front 'cause a pen won't show up! I'm in!
