Dia de los Muertos ATC

One of my favorite holidays is The Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, so for this swap you'll be making 1 ATC to send to 1 partner.

What is Dia de los Muertos? "The Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos or All Souls' Day) is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and by Latin Americans living in the United States and Canada. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration occurs on the 2nd of November in connection with the Catholic holiday of All Saints' Day which occurs on Nov 1st and All Souls' Day which occurs on Nov 2nd. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts." - Wikipedia

If you need inspiration, google image search! There are some amazing ideas for dia de los muertos out there. Use bright colors, skulls, creative media... you can add personal family touches, little prayers, Hispanic heritage touches... get creative with this theme! Loteria cards, tissue flowers, and vintage items all work great.

-Put effort into this swap! That means a sturdy background, standard atc size, and creativity! Don't just slap a sticker on a piece of copy paper and call it art. Only send work that you are proud of!

-If you cannot send for whatever reason contact me as soon as possible so that I can arrange for an angel to send to your partner. I don't want anyone disappointed!
