no stamps for me please.. anything else is gr8.. what is a zine?

freckleface 09/20/2009 #

A zine is a "homemade" self published usually photocopy magazine. Topics can be anything and everything the person who makes it wants and they give them away free or sell for a very low price. I LOVE zines :)

Thanks for explaining zines, I have been wondering about that for a while, I would love to receive a zine in this swap.

I too would enjoy receiving a zine as I have no experience with these. I do realize this is sender's choice though. :)

This a fabulous swap idea, I hope it returns again and again - because I would love to do it bunches of times!

If you send stamps, I would prefer international ones...I have a TON of US flags and Liberty bells (lol)!! I am ALSO curious about those zines. I'm not fussy, I'm excited for anything this may bring to my mailbox!!!

what a great idea for a swap. I missed this one, but please let me know if you host another!

anjinho 09/24/2009 #

Hi everybody! :)

Just to be sure about zines: If I would like to create one, and I would choose some illustrations and stuff like that, put it together with links, any text, tutorials,... and make it appear just like a real magazine: -That's a zine, is it???!?

Perhaps it is a bit stupid, to ask that again, but I just wanna make sure, that I don't do anything wrong...! :)

Thank you!!!

oliviarrow 09/25/2009 #

Anjinho, yes, that is totally a zine! Sounds great!

anjinho 09/30/2009 #

Thank you, Oliviarrow....! :) Unfortunately this time I had have not enough time to do one, but I am already working on a Zine! :) It's so much fun!
