Ithought I left a note here, but must of forgot, my sons 2nd grade teacher wants to do this friday in her class I printed out your swap details and sent a sample card, I dont know if she willtrade in class or in this group. I dont think shes heard of these cards before, Not alot of people around my are have, But I love doing them...I hope 2nd grade is ok......I think if your swappers put a note here with thier class size, so thier partner knows if they need to send a few extra cards, so any way, I will be watching untill I know for sure, and I wish you a successful swap.

I have middle schoolers. That I will let know that this is a community thing and that people of all ages are participating. My classes are very small (20 at the most) so my package would be a compilation from all 3 grades. I will share what they turn out and then also what we get back with every student regardless of if thier card is sent out. On the issue of the children having something to take home, I am going to have a dual swap. Each child will make 2 cards one to swap with a classmate and one they will share with thier USA community.

Posting class size may be helpful. 30 is just the stereotypical class size number

This is an awsome idea. i teach High School Painting and art 1. I am currently doing a 20/20 swap with a high school group in Kentucky. My students are really phsyced about it. We plan on mailing them out the friday before Thanksgiving break.

ok, did my cards, never give 2nd graders glitter! I havnt signed up yet. just wanna make sure my potential partner will get 2nd grade cards.....but the kids had alot of fun

This is an awesome idea, but I teach toddlers and I would feel bad if high school kids got cards from my 1 and 2 year olds...lol

I'm not sure what you mean by using "text as texture". Could you please explain? I introduced this to my group of kids from my after school care program last year. Some of them were asking about it this year, so I thought they might be interested in this.
