This is YOUR Life-- Slice of Life Swap Challenge

I was packing up my newspaper for the newspaper swap I recently mailed and I found myself going a bit beyond, printing out statistics and info about my city and some weird articles I’d found… More than the swap really asked for but what can I say- these are things I find interesting sooooo

I propose this swap. Each participant is to send 1 partner the following-

1- Local publication. Not necessarily a newspaper but that would be OK. What I’m looking for is something that highlights the unique local flavor of your city or region, or a newsletter that is sent out to locals, something like that. 1- Postcard depicting something that your area is famous or known for. 3- Minimum, photos depicting local landmarks or places you like to go or just something neat about your local you want to share. 1- Small item or trinket or ? that represents your region- the cheaper the better, get creative here! Max value of $3 1- Nice note, explaining the significance of each item and including a unique fact or story about your city/area.

I think this should be a really fun and inexpensive swap! This should all fit in a standard brown kraft paper mailer (or brown paper bag fashioned into a mailer) and cost no more than a couple bucks to ship! I made it int’l to make it all the more interesting and shouldn’t cost much more to ship! Maybe I’m a big weirdo but I think this kind of stuff is so interesting! I’m giving a bit of time to get things together. Since this swap is all about YOU, feel free to start getting everything together before the start date. I’m a bit of a newbie here so let me know if I’m forgetting something or if you have any suggestions!

Anyone with at least 5 mailed swaps of any kind and no 1’s or 3’s in the past 3 mos. are welcome. If you do not meet these requirements contact me anyway with a nicely filled profile =) I will be checking each profile for anything fishy or suspect and reserve the right to ban anyone that looks suspect.
