QnT: Beginner Level: Quilted Fabric Ornament

This is for all of us beginner quilters.

We will make a small quilted fabric ornament for our partner.

Requirements:

• Approximate size: No smaller than 3" x 3" (7.5 cm x 7.5 cm) and no larger than 5" x 5" (12.5cm x 12.5 cm). Please don't take out your rulers when you receive it, this is just a general guideline to indicate that we are making something small. You can also make it in any shape you like (circle, rectangle, triangle, etc.) .
• It should have a hanger.
• It should not be specific to any holiday or occasion, just something that would look cute hung on a doorknob or cupboard door or even on a gift for someone special.
• Check your partner's profile for ideas re colour and theme.
• Any kind of quilting (hand or machine), any kind of technique (block, applique, crazy quilt, strip piecing, paper piecing, etc.) and any kind of finishing (binding, raw, satin stitch, etc.) are all acceptable.
